A Blog For Two

This weekend has been crazy busy. My house was used as a bed and that was all. It was an absolutely amazing weekend, but I wish I had more sleep and a day to rest my legs.
----------
-Yesterday I volunteered at Hope's Harvest. It was really fun...I like the coffee shop atmosphere and feeling like I helped.
-I also hung out with JDK. We went to Rabbit's so I could see where Nosh gets their bread.
-Then we met up with Mike and went out for Chinese. It was a grand time with good food and I just remembered I left my Chinese in Mike's refrigerator, which I knew would happen when he offered to let me keep it there.
-After that I went to work and got a workout. I love my job so much. I have something to do constantly so it goes by amazingly fast. The only problem is that when it's all over I feel stressed with minor tasks. I saw some more amazing food. If you're going for amazing look try the Marlin...it's beautiful.
-After work I hung out with JDK and Mike some more...we played regular Bananas and Dirty Bananas...it was hilarous.
-----------
Today I went to the AIDS walk in the cities. I rode the transit. Saw crazily energetic and enthusiastic people. Walked 6.2+ miles. Got lots of free snacks. It was really fun. My legs kill now though.
-----------
I've realized things about myself from my relations with other people:
-My hate list is only temporary...it can be proven wrong at any given moment.
-When I'm stressed I don't enjoy being around people I normally do or my parents, but that's a given.
-I don't like people to say I'm in a bad mood/crabby/mean...it just doesn't help anything.
-I say things that people take personally...even though I don't mean any of it.
-----------
I always thought that I was a patient person, but I think I need to work on developing more of it.
-----------
I love my friends. I like what my life is turning into. I'm frustrated with some things, stressed about others. It's becoming easier to focus on each individual day. 4 more days of high school...and Holy Lorda I'm glad it's almost done.
-----------
Sorry this was so long.
----------
I could have said "Zitch Dog" a million times today at the park. If you were there I would be winning by a lot more. But you weren't.

Insightful Not Inspitefull

Somedays I wonder who I would be if I had made the other choice in some major choices in my life, or if others had done things differently.
-What if he had not moved away?
-What if I had stayed friends with them?
-What if she had not corrected my opinion?
-What if I had chosen the other him to be with 1 1/2 years?
-What if I had not left the house that day?
-What if I had just asked what time to come in on Christmas Day?
-What if I had met any single person at a different time in my life?

I believe that all of those questions and many more would have dramatically changed my life if they had gone the opposite way they did. I would rather have looked back on them and wonder if I would have ended up a failure than have taken those decisions and wonder if I would have been a success because I am truly happy with how everything worked out even if I might not have thought that at the moment.
------------
I had one of the most insightful conversations I have had with a friend in quite a long time...it lasted for about 4-5 hours. I would share some of the things I learned, but I really keep that sort of stuff to myself and disclose that stuff only when in the right setting.
------------
I heard the perfect wording for what I want out of life in terms of being known: I want to be respected and have my name out there but not be noticed when walking down the street.
-------------
Enough insight for one night. The "not in spite full" aspect of my blog would be rather than complaining about the people in my life and the lameness of my school day...I would rather list the people that made each of them good:

Spanish: The people that delivered our winnings, Meghan Streed
Biology: Sam J
Study Hall: Chris, Mike
Media Design: Mike
Peer Tutoring: Jake, Adam, Cody
AP Lit: JDK
Stats: Tom
In Between Classes/Lunch: Amanda Foster, Pat E (even though I don't respect the way he eats)
-------------
I'm home alone. I have been a little freaked out tonight even though I'm not usually like that. Whatever. I will live. I am afterall a goddess by day and a ninja by night.

Mamma Mia Ninja Ninja

I am a ninja.
I serve coffee and you don't notice me,
But I'm polite and have amazing etiquette.
------------
Today I had a horrible school day. Practically the only person to make me smile much was Chris. It was unexpected, but delightful...we bonded today.
----------
I had a stressful after school. I had to buy clothes for work that met their satisfaction and be back in Lake City by 5 so I can be back and beautiful at 5:30.
-----------
I LOVE my job. I love the people there. Love the food. Love the everything. It seriously was perfect. I missed supper, but didn't care at all because it was so amazing. I was also standing so long that my legs quivered at the choir concert. But I don't care because I LOVE MY JOB.
-------------
I also love my friends. They have amazing singing abilities. Specifically Mike and Jared were my two favorite performers. Everyone did a good job, but they were lovely. Bri and Jared also did beautiful Chorography. Bessie looked gorgeous. I wish I was Steph so I could play bass. I wish I was Abbey so I could play piano. (Both Guitar and Piano are on my list of things to do/learn in my life). Nathan Frye looked exotic. Kevin was nice. Jess was nice. Everyone was just nice. Mike also won an awesome award...yay...I was so happy.
--------------
Enough of that. I have some food studying to do. Did you know bread is crazy to memorize...I forget the Toasted Red Pepper Feshhahahhlalalala (it starts with an "F" but I don't remember what it was)...there were also 3 others...but only I would care about that. I got to sample food. But anyways I already talked about my job and I have people to chat with and things to study and muchos cosas to do.

Mike and the Like

Let me start off by telling you a story about a promise I didn't keep and a dream I had last night. Mike asked to be mentioned in yesterday's blog, but I forgot. I later had a dream last that he yelled at me for it. So this blog is dedicated to one of my best friends: Mike Trost.

Mike is a delight.
Girls faint when he's in sight.
-----------
Today was an eventful day. It was orientation at my job. I love the people that work there. They are so professional yet funny. My favorite moment was when my boss referred to each of us as ninjas...and gave us a ninja speech. We are quick, efficient, and aren't noticed when we fill coffee and change silverware. We also dress in all black. We are ninjas who are ninja-like. We also got an instruction manual that is quite intimidating, but it's much more organized than anything that the nursing home ever gave me. I like it. I also have to work on memorizing all food from their menu, and food terms from "The Food Lover's Companion" as well as have a lot of knowledge about wine. It will turn into a lot of daily studying. I have a test on all this stuff before I can actually waitress. Crazy, but nice.
------------
Tonight was also scholarship night. I'll be brief because I am quite sick of hearing about it. I got 3 scholarships: Zumbro Falls Sportsmen's Club, Zumbro Falls Lions, and Eastern Star. I was really pleasantly surprised. I was also happy that there were a variety of people getting them because I like when lots of people get stuff. Spread the wealth.
-------------
I took 3 Spanish tests. Kelsey Fick is a crow. Bri is awkward. Tom is good at Tetris. My mom is weird.
------------
In conclusion: Mike is amazing. Mike is talented and nearly God-like. I hope this mentioning of him will stop the nightmares of him yelling at me.
------------
Off to bed. Sweet dreams to you.

Moovie Day

Hellola,
Today was a movie day. In Biology it was 90 minutes of Gattaca...which is an interesting movie, but a long time to just sit there. Then in AP Lit it was 90 minutes of Young Frankenstein...also a good movie, but the same 90 minute thing.
-------------
I do not enjoy going to sleep at night. I would rather just take a 2 hour nap at different times during the course of a day whenever I felt I needed rest.
-------------
My mom added "Reading Lord of the Flies" to her list of things to do in her life. My list is a lot different than hers. I'm not sure how we ended up so different, but I want to experience everything around the world...not just things that I can do in my house like hers. I guess she's happy like that...and I'm happy the way I have things planned.
-------------
I start my first day of work tomorrow. I am so frickin' excited...I wish I could work there every day (or at least that's what I think now)...I just like the idea of it so much. I hope it goes as well as I think it will...usually when I'm this excited for something it does go that way..so yay. Then it's awards night...and I'll have to listen to my parents gossip when I get home. Bleh. I wish everyone got at least one scholarship...that would make me happy.
--------------
My mom forwarded me an email that somebody from MY life had sent her...she thought it was just as odd as I did. I called somebody today and they were mildly confused when they heard my voice at the other end, but it worked out. I have about 7 days of high school left...that's so exciting. I also have an NHS meeting tomorrow as well as having A LOT of crap to get done this week.
------------
Wish me luck as I wish you luck.
Hasta Banana

Oh How I Wish It Were Summer!

I sat down in my chair to study.
Before I knew it my head was on the book
And I was getting beat over the head.
I awoke with a jerk and my heart was racing.
Then I fell back asleep
Realizing it was a dream.
I awoke again and feel like I have slept for 10 years
And continue to feel like I got beat over the head.
--------------
I have one more important test...and that is Latin. I need to study for the next week...I need to study a lot. I need to care, but my brain is shutting down.
--------------
I can't wait till awards night is over. I'm so sick of hearing about scholarships. It's just an excuse for people to think they are better than other people. Somebody asked me if I got one today...only they asked it in a way that made me feel like I didn't deserve one. Screw them...I got one and I prefer not to tell it to the world.
-------------
The AP Bio test was a bit ridiculous...the multiple choice was the easy part...I'm fairly confident I passed that part, but seriously the free-response questions completely bitch-slapped me in the face. It doesn't bother me though...I went into it thinking I wouldn't pass...so if I do pass it will just be a pleasant surprise.
-------------
Peer Tutoring was really fun. Kevin, Bri, Adam Yotter, and I just joked around and made jokes. I worked on my Spanish 4 while they worked on their stuff...Spanish 4 is ridiculous. In AP Lit. I listened to a bunch of people freak out over what movie to watch for our film study...thank god it ended in Young Frankenstein because nobody was heartbroken. In Statistics I signed up for the AIDS walk, studied Spanish a little, read my book, and then signed up for Award's Night in the office.
-------------
When I was driving home I watched the clouds and saw they looked like a variety of things. My favorite was one that looked like a snail. I should probably stop daydreaming and focus, but my mind is ready for the year to end.
------------
I made a friend last night. It was a good time. I'm glad.
-----------
The Biggest Loser Finale is on tomorrow night. I'm excited to see Tara win and Ron to leave.
------------

Nothing of Interest

Metabolism of which of
the following molecules results
in the greatest net usable energy
per gram?
A. A triglyceride
B. A tripeptide
C. An alpha-linked disaccharide
D. A beta-linked disaccharide
E. An anabolic steroid

I didn't know either...
-----------------
Tomorrow is our AP Biology test...while I feel like I know a lot about Biology and feel like I know enough to deserve the college credit...questions like that keep showing up randomly and I feel like it won't go how I want it to. The first practice test went well though...so perhaps it will be like that? I hope.
------------------
I studied for about 5 hours so far today...don't expect this blog to be at all interesting, insightful, or funny...my brain hurts.
------------------
I texted. I watched Will & Grace while studying. I remembered Twister. My mom liked her present. I facebook chatted for someone even though I never do that. I wish I lived in Lake City so I could hang out with people more often.
------------------
Stop! 'Cause I really love you.

Tengo Buenas Noticias!

I noticed two birds in a tree
Just looking at each other,
And looking at the sunset.
In the moment I wanted that.
But the truth is
I'm dead on the inside.
I like the idea of love,
but it's so much work.
-------------
I took that picture.
As well as the new one for my blog title...
as well as some more.
----------------
Today was amazing.
-------------
I got a call.
It was Tiffany from Nosh.
I have a job.
It is Wednesday 4-5:30.
--------------
I probably have more to say,
but I'll leave you in suspense.
--------------
Zitch Dog!....
but not really...
I would text you if it was.
You know who you are.

I Love You To Crockpot

I love you to crock pot.
That is a lot.
-------------
Hours 1-4 were bad hours....luckily hours 5-7 were just lovely so it was a good day. My after school plans were also a success.
------------
Pretty sure Cody Vonier, Jake Eichhorn, and Adam Yotter were the ones to make my day better...they were strangely creepy, but made me laugh. Right Hand Puse. Left Hand Pusimos.
----------
I went to Hopes Harvest after dropping Mike off for work. Susan Draves gave me free Mocha Coffee Stuff...it was good. We chatted and I studied Biology.
----------
I went to Subway...enough said. Pretty sure the guy that made my sandwich thinks I'm funny....or weird....but whatever.
----------
I have 2 super awesome friends....and some friends that I like, but don't talk to quite as much and don't have nearly as many inside jokes...and I have some friends that annoy me much, but I still kind of like them. I don't mind this situation...except for the constant annoyance. Ooo and I have also been making friends with the lesser knowns...thank god for that....or not?
----------
I saw a movie that made me laugh. Enough said. I walked in the rain, in the dark...with friends...how refreshing is that?
---------
I know you don't give a shit, but I give a shit! I give A LOT of shit!
--------
Twister.
Buenos Nachos.

I Said I Love You Today...I'll Say I Love You Again

The clouds looked like popcorn as I was driving home.
The sky looked as blue as the ocean and it hurt my eyes as the sun gleamed off of the letter N hanging from my mirror.
----------
Today was a nice Thursday....as compared to those nasty Thursdays where everything goes wrong....I almost hit a bird on my way into school...I figured that would be what goes wrong...but I missed it....which makes that story a lot less interesting.
---------
I took an AP Lit. test...there was a couple of drama queens, but that's normal. I thought it was fairly easy...then again I like English and writing so it's rare to find me complaining about such things. The 4 hours went fast...and I had no headache. I'm not sure if the AP Bio test Monday will be as easy for me...but I will continue to study lots and hopefully things will work to my advantage.
-----------
Mr. Heise called today and talked to each individual in our AP class....it actually kind of made my day...it was really nice and thoughtful. I wish he was coming back, but I guess it's better for his health....he's the only teacher I know for sure I will try to keep in contact with after I graduate...the rest I'm not sure.
----------
I went Mother's Day shopping with Mike in the antique store...we came across a lot of random crap, a bunch of creepy dolls, and lots of interesting things that we liked to look at, but would never buy. I spent some money on my mother and I think she will be pleased. Mike bought a doll just so you all know...but in his defense it was more attractive than the others, a "brand" that his mother likes, as well as the fact it was for his mother and not him.
---------
Statistics was the only class I had today...we were productive. Otherwise it twas test, delivered lunch in a brown bag which JDK told Pyle was Crack and Prostitutes, listened to the Calculus class talk about their future plans, and an hour of AP Lit. nothingness...which was nice.
--------
I have plans for tomorrow. I get the house to myself this weekend...too bad I will spend it studying. My illness has subsided and I have not received a phone call. I can half smell and desperately want to hear the ring of the phone.
--------
Speaking of phone...my mother wanted me to do some laundry...I had better start doing that.

I Love Raindrops

I love the feeling of being outside just after a rainstorm.
When the sun has awakened and peers out from behind the clouds.
And the plants are freshened by a glaze of cool rain.
When everything seems to take on a deeper shade of green.
I love the feeling of laying in fresh white sheets.
With the scent of a vanilla candle luming in the air.
A cup of steaming tea sitting on a table next to a soft bed.
The windows speckled with raindrops that have collected.
I love the feeling of staring into the sky on a clear dark night.
When the stars are bright and glowing above your head.
Laying in the grass without a fear in the world.
Expecting to be able to fly away if you close your eyes.
--------------
I wish my daydreams could become reality. I wish that I could let everything in the world go and not have any fear...no worries...or pain. I wish that whenever I dream this daydream of raindrops I didn't quickly relate it to the fact that my eyes are dripping with tears from my tickled nose and stuffy sickness. I wish I could escape the loud people, the people that complain of their problems that really aren't significant at all, and the people that are so set on their ways they have no ability to open their mind and let new ideas in. I wish I could rest my eyes and stop my thoughts. I wish there were more hours in a day to accomplish everything I want.
--------------
My days have become relaxing, but reality is they all have a calming about them before the storm truly hits. One of those storms takes place tomorrow at 8am. I feel well prepared, self-confident, and positive...but I can't help but think 10 more minutes of literary terms, 5 more minutes looking at Spark Notes, or just a minute to gather my thoughts and grasp some creative energy.
-------------
I wish I wish I wish...eventually...I will.

A Slight Barrier in the Wellness of my Health

I should be peer tutoring some Spanish-speaking souls right now, but instead am sitting at home recovering from a killer cold, watching Will & Grace, and studying a little.
-------
I slept from 4pm yesterday until 9:30am today with exception of hour long wake-up periods that only happend about twice.
-------
I really have nothing to say besides the fact that all my classes today are independent study anyways so I am missing nothing, and the fact that I am bored and actually look forward to coming back to school tomorrow to see my favorite people.
------
AP Lit test is Thursday. 3 or better here I come.

Fa Lalalala Pra Prom Prom Prom

Lots of things happend in my life this weekend.
---------

-Had a job interview...it went well...and I love the guy who interviewed me.

-Went to Nathan's house to change for prom and then had a photoshoot with him and his mom.

-Went to Bri's and had amazing food. Her mom is an amazing cook as well as everyone who helped.

-Went to Patton Park for more pictures...too many pictures...but at least we captured every moment.

-Went to Dairy Queen and chatted.

-Went random driving with Nathan, JDK, and Holly. I like Holly...she's my cousin, but we really have hardly talked. Nathan was also very entertaining.

-Went to a cemetary to form a game plan.

-Went to BK for a bathroom break.

-Grand March

-Dance

-Mike's

-Sleepover

-Visited Hope's Harvest

-Got bad news from a text message...I hope everything works out okay...I trust that it will, but there's always that chance.
------------------------
I realized that yesterday my patience level was amazing. I talked to people that I usually don't like or have never talked to and they weren't so bad (with exception of 3 people). I made some friends, improved some friendships, and embraced some friendships. We may have a new member to our posse. I also realized I had a lot better Prom than last year because I wasn't focusing just on one person, I had some space, and my date was very entertaining.
-----------------------
I'm going to start caring a lot more. I did decide that Friday, but tomorrow I'm going to embrace that. I'm very sad my favorite teacher will not be teaching the rest of this year...I'm going to get an awesome score on my AP test for him...because he's an awesome teacher and has taught us so much.
-----------------------
I have a very sore throat....very very sore....my mom said I looked sick....I hate admitting that I'm sick...so I won't...not yet.
-----------------------
Amazing Prom. Amazing after prom. Glad to be dressed casually. My senior year has had some of the greatest moments of my life...and some of the worst....it has been the most memorable year so far. I look forward to finishing it off, having an amazing summer, and then escaping to Minneapolis.
---------------------
End.

Today was a Day

Today was a day.
--------
School felt weird. It was nice to have a day of nothing, but really....really I just want it to be done. Adam Yotter probably did the best job at making me laugh today in school.
--------
Car crash thing...better than I originally thought....less better than it had later been talked up to be. Some things could have been edited, but I understand the work. That "host-like" lady made me laugh. Who needs to raise there hand to show they are wearing a red shirt? Just look at the shirt.
--------
"Today....everyone in Lake City died........emotionally."
--------
It also started off with her listing off the sponsers....she read them very dramatically...it very well could have been the whole show and it would have convinced me to make good decisions.
-------
I went to Roch with JDK, Kevin, and Jared. I like the people that I like. I also got some pictures.
-------
Went to Mike's house...I enjoy him...and the people that I like.
-------
Tomorrow is prom. Tomorrow is the new date of my job interview (for sure). Tomorrow will be stressful. Tomorrow will be fun. I hate repitition so I'm not sure why I said tomorrow so much. Anyways I look forward to things to come...not as much as some others...but enough to smile...especially if I am employed tomorrow.
------
Make smart choices.
Ciao

Thursday Theory

Today is Thursday.
I hate Thursdays.

My day was so bad I think it takes away from all of yesterday's excitment. I will say 5 reasons of why that is:

1. I woke up 20 minutes earlier then I wanted to on accident because my alarm is messed up...leaving me tired for the rest of the day.
----
2. I had a headache and the inability to focus on anything today...even the practice AP Lit. exam which I just completely skipped a section because I couldn't read.
----
3. Mayo called...their computer made a mistake and it turns out I missed the scholarship by .1%...that is POINT ONE...$3,000/year has been taken away. Some people made me feel like they didn't think I would get it...it made me feel good about myself that I got it....but I didn't.
----
4. In combination of last night and today in Study Hall...I spent around 4 hours typing over 200 words with over 200 definitions in Excel...after I finished, I put them into alphabetical order...or so I thought...instead I only put the first column into alphabetical order and left the definitions normal...mixing all the words up...I save & closed out of the program...when I got home I noticed my mistake and I couldn't undo it...so I had to redo A LOT of it.
----
5. My computer virus has become worse...my dad is taking it to our computer friend tomorrow for the weekend...so I will be without my own computer for a while...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I do, however, believe in being positive.
1. The extra time in the morning gave me extra time to do other things
2. The AP practice exam is not graded...& other people thought it was difficult...so it made me feel less bad.
3. I didn't think I would get that scholarship in the first place because it's only based on ACT scores & now my mom doesn't have to be upset about it not getting announced on awards night.
4. The 2nd column of latin was in order of my book...so I only had to redo the first column (about an hour an 1/2 wasted, but still not 4 hours).
5. My computer will hopefully be fixed after this weekend...plus we have 2 other computers.
---------
I have a job interview tomorrow. My mom bought food. I can handle one bad day...because after every Thursday is a Friday. I sense donuts tomorrow.
*deep breaths* AND *exhaleeee*.....better.
Job, Friends, Smiles, Pizza, Arguments, & Pictures
Today was something close to a perfect day. Things I have been worrying about have finally worked out.
---------
My one main one is I have an interview for being a waitress at Nosh. It will give me a reason to escape my house & money to pay for things.
--------
Also I have been repairing a lot of friendships that I had began to lose. Today I noticed a few people from my "hate list" start to disappear...one continues to make me more angry.
-------
I laughed in almost every hour. Spanish was bearable & Sra. Swanson was okay. Advisory we got pizza. Study Hall wasn't productive, but I sure laughed a lot. Peer Tutoring I talked with Bri, Kevin, Adam Yotter, and Jake Eichhorn. Statistics I played chess with Tom and took a walk with Tanisha. It was a successful day.
------
Today in advisory I noticed that the boys in our class are animals. We ordered 2 large pizzas...we had a girl pizza and a boy pizza. As the girls calculated how many pieces each person could eat and ate it in an organized fashion, the boys grabbed as many pieces as they could and spread out throughout the room while crouching over their food. They finished very quickly and after they were done they started licking their fingers and practically grooming themselves. It was weird...
-------
My parents just got into a huge fight over something about one of my scholarships...I told them to shut up because I don't care if it gets announced on award's night or not...I left...they continued to argue and it led to my dad saying something that I understand, but my mom didn't and she got really upset...I wish they would listen to me when I tell them to shut it because now my mom is super upset with my dad and she's the type of stubborn person not to understand what he said and he's the type of stubborn person that won't understand why she's upset. GAH!
--------
Anyways, we will hope for another wonderful day! =)
Adios
A Day Amongst The Locos
Today was a day filled with crazy people...loud, crazy, annoying people. There are several people I have begun to dislike. But, enough with the negativity.
Several good things happend today as well in accordance to prophecy. For example, I got a $3,000 Mayo scholarship. That made me happy.
I sealed the last envelope of my Latin assignments...all I have left is a final. I currently have a B+ which makes me incredibly happy.
There were two points of the day where I laughed a lot. Lunch & the car ride back from school. Leah drove and usually it's a quiet ride back, but today we actually laughed together after both having a day filled with annoying people. We laughed about prom and we laughed about farmers...it was a good time.
If you ever find me aimlessly digging in the middle of a cornfield...shoot me...or crash your car into me.
A little stress has been lifted. I get pizza tomorrow in advisory. I saved the world today. Tomorrow I have a 90 minute study hall to look forward to. I hope all the Locos tone themselves down.
Do you hear that noise?
.....
It's gone now.
1/2 Smile
A girl walks along an abandoned street
In attempt to escape the world.
The ground has been glazed by a cold rain
Giving it a glass-like appearance.
Lightning strikes in the distance
And two crows fly in opposite directions.
Dark clouds overshadow the girl.
Even though she has great potential,
She is weakened by all the distractions in the world
And all the events of the future.
She moves to the left to walk atop the grass,
And rid herself of routine.
She has no money for an umbrella
To shelter herself from the rain.
Instead she lets the rain dampen her hair,
And dances
Because she has been given legs to escape.
---------------------
Today was uneventful as many days have been.
-------------------
I did find out good news that I am currently getting all A's...and that makes me really happy because I've never had a 4.0 before...and I think I can keep these grades.
------------------
My dad is at a Zumbro Falls Sportsman's Club meeting tonight helping to decide who gets the scholarship...I hope its me & some other nice person, but I know there's no guarentee of either of those things.
------------------
Today I did an hour long intense workout...and it just killed me...I am sore everywhere...especially my legs...but it made me feel amazing and cured my headache so it was worth it.
-----------------
I've been really happy in some ways, and rather depressed in others....I have amazing friends and a lot to look forward to, but at the same time I have no job that I am currently working at which means no money, and also I have felt myself not caring about a lot of things I should. I'll remain happy though.
----------------
Briana talked about Prom with me today...she likes prom. She makes me laugh.
----------------
Mr. Brott took some Loco Pills over the weekend and decided to start mandatory review sessions every morning at 7:45 for 2 weeks....so you might not see my presence in the hallway in the mornings. I hope I get a 3 or better on my AP test....that would be lovely.
---------------
I look forward to a wonderful Tuesday.
Adios!
The Road Not Traveled
Support GMM...Give Money for Miracles...Jesus is returning soon and he can't afford his plane ticket to Earth!
-------
I spent time with JDK & Mike tonight...it was good. I took a walk with JDK to Mike's house for a surprise visit...watched Mike cook dinner...went on a walk with both of them...went to JDK's house.
------
I had some funny photos and videos from today, but my computer isn't recognizing my memory card...so we will wait for another day.
------
Two roads diverge in a yellow wood, and I took the opposite one as you...and trust me..it has made all the difference.
So Yesterday
As promised...that is Mike...he was singing "So Yesterday."
-----
Today was an uneventful day, but at the same time I guess it was nice to have a break from all the things I should be doing. I wish it was yesterday again, but without the school part.
-----
I've been trying to live in the moment, but I'm having trouble not looking forward to the future, planning, and wondering how things are going to turn out. Last year I had everything figured out...this year I removed a lot of my future plans and either replaced them with new ones or just have no clue how it's going to turn out.
----
Did you know: The first career I ever wanted in my future was to be a petstore owner, but that was way back in first grade. I have also wanted to be a vet, interior designer, and psychiatrist. I almost died when I was 4 from Chicken Pox. The first guy I ever thought I was in love with was Timmy Smith in first grade. I was my pastor's favorite student in my confirmation class because I could memorize an endless amount of bible versus, but now I question whether I believe in God at all. The first guy I ever kissed was someone I was dating, but we were playing truth or dare with a group of people...romantic right? At around 8th grade I decided I wanted to live in New Haven, CT just because it sounded cool...I still want to live there at some point. The first guy I ever truly fell in love with was Esteban...he was also the only guy to break the 2 month curse. I have a list of over 100 things I want to do in my life and I have only done about 15 of them. Only a couple of people have seen me cry. I see colors when I remember things and have had syrup in my locker since December. Lots of people think they know me, but I have a huge problem with people knowing too much about me...so if you knew a lot of the above things consider yourself pretty special.
-----
I smile because I have some pretty amazing people in my life and a lot to look forward to.
Ponder This
"Where in this piece of literature does it say she's a ho?" -Mr. Heise
--------------
I took some beautiful pictures today...one of which is my new title picture...aren't I talented?
--------------
I also have a lot to say, but since I have spent so much time editing pictures, chatting, and dealing with computer viruses I will keep it to a minimum.
-------------
I had a wonderful day. I took a walk with Mike. We also tried to solve the puzzle in his magazine which is crazy intense. I went to an amazing movie called The Soloist. I introduced 2 of my favorite people to my house. I was calm, but then got really angry at Esteban for false accusations about ridiculous topics, but we worked things out in the end. There was also a thunderstom...yay.
------------
I love my friends. Especially this one:
I have an embarassing video of him, but I'll save that for tomorrow or another day...because I have a different video of someone else that will hopefully foster some thoughts within your head.
A Strange Thing To Say While Exiting The Restroom:
More tomorrow...I'm off to my bedroom. Good-whatevertimeoftheday to you!
Save the Earth! Conserve Some Air! Shut Your Mouth!
Some people should try harder to save the Earth, but instead of recycling they should conserve some air. There is too much complaining and too many annoying people going on in this world. We need to cut back.
-----------
Today felt like Friday. The weather was awesome this morning! After school Megan and I went to Subway...how much better does it get than that??? Not too much. I love Subway. Then, we watched tennis. It was so sunny we both got a tan. JDK and Doug played very well.
----------
Then we went to Bluff View to babysit little kids for NHS. We walked around Bluff View and took a trip down memory lane...it was awesome...we found a picture of us in 5th grade looking all special because we read those special books. We also sat in tiny little chairs...I felt like a giant.
----------
Then the kids came...one of our first impressions was Amelia...an awkward little girl that turned out to be really annoying. She also developed a crush on Scott. Spano was really popular with the kids...they jumped on him, played basketball with him, stretched out his shirt, and made him swing them around in a circle. I was popular with a couple of little boys...one of them managed to get to 2nd base with me while we played tag. He also later showed off how fast he could run and that he could do push ups. Sexy. Megan and I played a little basketball and a little football...that was fun...of course the boys joined in. We also went outside and played. I'm actually very sore from today. It was very fun though.
---------
I don't like crying children or screaming girls.
-----------
Amelia gave Scott a paper flower...how romantic.
----------
Save the Earth. Conserve some air. Shut your mouth. Unless you make me smile.
To Come Upon Thy 50th
Once upon a time there was a guy.
He was on a bus. On a journey to the cities. For an adventure of a lifetime.
It was Costa Rica.
His roomate was her closest friend.
Together the 3 of them witnessed monkeys flying from trees,
tasted Costa Rican pizza, and he wrote messages on her hand.
When they returned to the U.S. of A the 3 of them enjoyed lunch-time discussion.
He and she found out they had a lot in common and they became best friends.
She made him laugh...he made her laugh...and many inside jokes were born.
She had never been one to reveal her mystery,
but she trusted him.
She is glad to have a best friend.
He is Josh Draves-Kellerman.
----------------------------
Today was a good day, but I was so focused on being productive that it became kind of a blur.
---------------------------
Two different people told me stories of how they saw Ms. Myran's thong. Two different times of the day. Both times she dropped two different objects. How awkward.
---------------------------
According to spaleon.com "Megan tells good stories" is not a correct answer. Mike distracted me in study hall, but that's okay...I approve of him. I heard Adam Yotter sing "September" like a dying cat again...it made me laugh. Tom, Tanisha, and I did the entire Statistics project over again...we were all frustrated, but we still managed to get done....I also finished Lord of the Flies and would recommend it to anyone.
--------------------------
My computer needs a get well card and a box of tissues...it seems to have a little virus. I hope it gets well soon or I will become angered.
Goodbye.
The House Two Cornfields & A Horse Pasture Away
Dancing upon a lighted rooftop
in the dark of night
Twirling around so freely
beneath the glowing light
Love is just a little dance
where beauty blurs the sight.
------------------
I went to my grandma's house after school. Her and my aunt from New York are my 2 favorite people in my family, and pretty sure if it wasn't for them I would consider my family crazy. I went over there to deal with my prom dress, but that only took 5 minutes so then the rest of the time we looked at pictures from when she was in high school and college. Ms. Dahling looked a lot different (she was friend's with my grandma in college). It's nice to visit my grandma without my parents...my mom always annoys me when she's around her.
-----------------
I have a lot of thoughts running through my mind...I'm not sure if I should bother discussing...because that might get kind of boring and depressing. Perhaps another day.
----------------
Today I was locked out of the AP Lit. room, but tricked Mike into letting me in. Hannah said my hair looked pretty. Tommy called me beautiful after he insulted me. Mike and I thought of different ways to creep people out on a train or bus. When JDK left the room he only said goodbye to me. I couldn't get out a full sentence when Mr. A looked at me. I corrected part of 6th hour's Spanish tests...my head hurt from having to mark so many wrong...que triste. Megan knew my room was pink even though she hasn't seen my room since it changed color. The Biggest Loser is on....what a lovely day.
----------------
I get the house to myself this weekend. I also have plans Thursday & Friday...hoorah...maybe Saturday too.
----------------
I hope JDK gets what he wants....I also hope I figure out what I want...
Awkward is a State of Mind
The spirit of Sra. Swanson the Loca continued to hover about the room as she assigned a bunch of boring crap for the Mr. Todd to make us do. Megan, Marisa, and Courtney laughed at my jokes though...so that made me smile.
---------
I have been continuing my journey of asking "Random People I Never Talk To" for their senior pictures for the yearbook. I also continued to make a fool of myself seeing as how I can't be normal around random people (or people in general I suppose). I called Cody Ryan's school picture embarassing and he kind of freaked out...I hope I didn't offend him...I also said the same thing to Jared Witte just for the heck of it and he just laughed at me. I wasn't sure what to call Amanda Foster besides Amanda Foster so it was really awkward when I used her full name when talking to her. Less than 15 pictures left...I wonder how many more awkward moments I will have with the Lesser-Knowns of our senior class.
--------
The rest of my day was something close to me being productive...so I won't talk about that.
--------
Tomorrow is pretty much my slacker day...AP Bio, Media Design, Peer Tutoring, AP Lit...pretty sure it will be a whole lotta nothingness...but that sounds good to me.
--------
I have a bunch of pictures to potentially go in the yearbook...this is an embarassing one that probably won't make it in there....
The Day of Nothing Interesting To Say
Some days aren't worth the effort
to make them sound more interesting than they are.
I slept in till 12 today, awaking to a dark sky and rain streaming down the glass. I accomplished something close to nothing, but did manage to finish a few graduation invitations and work on AP Lit. I read what is considered fine literature, but turned out to be one of the most boring things I ever read put into a very complex series of words.
Some days aren't worth the effort
to make them sound more interesting than they are.
But a boring today
has the potential to create a wonderful tomorrow.
Edward Cullen *sigh*
Today was amazing for multiple reasons.
1. I got my hair trimmed...it looks the same, but feels healthier.
2. I had over 2 1/2 hours to kill so I decided to drive to Winona and relax.
3. JDK & I played tennis...it was super fun.
4. JDK got me a free smoothie from Hope's Harvest.
5. I went to JDK's house and we made fun of Twilight. It was terrible, but awesome to laugh at.
6. JDK made dinner...it was delicious.
7. We went to Mike's house and watched home videos...I saw Mike naked...when he was a baby.
8. We played Hide & Seek...it was fun.
9. When JDK & Mike hid I was walking in the basement in the dark, the door behind me creeked and it was creepy...then they jumped out at me and scared me so much I screamed louder than I've ever screamed in my life...it also gave me a headache that has yet to go away...it was funny.
10. We hung out and just chatted...we planned for our trip & discussed other interesting topics.
It rained. I love the rain so much...I actually prefer thunderstorms, but since it hasn't rained in weeks...I won't complain.
----------
Edward Cullen is a creeper.
Daydreams on a Friday that Felt Like Wednesday
Friday did not feel like Friday. Lauren was very excited to find out it was Tator Tot Hotdish today for lunch...it made me laugh. Study Hall I listened to Mike read FML to the rest of the honor's pass room. Peer tutoring I helped Adam Yotter...he's nice & I hope he does well on his test...he doesn't think he will, but I think there is hope. In statistics 25% of our 4 person group was missing (I really only have 3 people I like in that class). Syphilis was very very annoying...like none other, annoying...her laugh, her stupid comments, and the way she acted like I was incapable of getting the answer...gah! I'm not a fan of loud people. At least Jad was there...he's quiet, yet still capable of carrying on a conversation.
-----------------
As I was enjoying a nice plate of cake and ice cream, I realized that I do not fit in with my family at all. I don't know how my personality and views evolved. They talked about gossip, farming, and fishing...all things I don't like. There was also old country music playing in the background. My mom always acts fake around the rest of my family...it annoys me so much. I didn't say much because I was daydreaming.
-----------------
I daydreamed of living in a big city...being able to take a walk down the sidewalk and always find something to do, to not have people look at you or care about your business. I want to have a coffee shop I always go to, a park I can just relax in, a gym where I don't know anyone, a library that is bigger than my house, a grocery store that I don't have to drive 20 miles to get to, and a wide variety of culture and opinions so I can learn something.
----------------
I look forward to next year so much. Though, Minneapolis is still in Minnesota & I will still have to deal with a killer winter...there will be lots to do and lots of people to meet. Zumbro Falls has lost the respect of almost everyone...it makes me sad because over the summer I would always go jogging on a path by our house and it led to the top of the hill...there was a moment where I just sat up there and looked at the view of our small town and the sunset and realized it does have some beauty in it. I just wish the people weren't so stupid down there.
----------------
My life is still good though. I also am looking forward to tomorrow. JDK and I are having a movie day. Twilight is one of the movies we are watching (only to make fun of it)...Mr. Kohutko made me even more excited to see it because of how bad he said it was and he acted out a few parts...our Statistics class seems to talk about Twilight at least once a day...bleh. I'm also getting my hairs cut tomorrow...I'm not sure if it will look much different or not....we'll see.
----------------
Have a good evening!
Peace.
French Guys Are Spicy
Mike actually does know who Jordan Sparks is...thank God.
Bobbi Falde jokes were revived just for today...even Mr. Heise participated.
------------
Mike, Bri, and I had nothing to do today in Media Design so we took my camera and took pictures for the yearbook. Some younger kids were incredibly excited to have their picture taken for the yearbook...I feel very obligated to make sure that picture gets in there.
----------
Ms. Kopp brought her baby today...we watch Ms. Rogness hold it. It looked incredibly angry and it threw up on Ms. Rogness's foot...Owen is cute, but I'm not sure I'm a baby person. Certain things it did just made my nose crinkle.
----------
It was Thursday. I wore white. I gave a presentation. Someone held my hand and gave me a hug. Someone left the classroom and only said goodbye to me. I quoted The Office. Today, I said I was in love with someone who faked a French accent.
-----------
It's my grandfather's birthday tomorrow. Cake and Ice Cream will be in my future at approximately 4pm.
-----------
Change has begun. Change is in the future. The phone won't stop ringing.
The Softest Voice
Good Evening.
---------------
9 was the time that I woke up. I wish every day for the rest of the year seniors had a 2 hour delay. Sra. Swanson was shocked that I would say such a thing...she also asked what I did in the morning thinking it would be something amazing...I said "I slept" in a pretty loud voice and definately not in Spanish. I don't think she likes me very much anymore...but I'm not a fan of her so I can't say I care too much.
-------------
I talked to a few random people today, such as Tyler Ranzenberger. I hope I scared him enough to turn in his senior picture. Last time I had a class with him he gave me a note with his phone number telling me to call him...I never did, but he moved on rather quickly.
------------
I helped Pat Eversman save the world this morning. We listened to classic rock...he said I didn't seem like the classic rock type...that's okay.
----------
Pretty sure Mike wanted his name in here....I can't say he made study hall any more interesting by telling me that he was going to talk to me. But he does make Media Design more entertaining. I told him I was thinking hateful thoughts about him...that was a lie.
-----------
I want some things in my life to change...I'll start with the look of my blog & the music it plays.
----------
If you had a French accent I would fall in love with you.
Epoca
I awoke at 8 this morning. It was really nice.
----------
Today was a good day. I'll summarize for you:
-Spanish 4: Sra. Swanson took an extra dose of crazy.
-Media Design: Getting Far On My Pages.
-Biology: Presentations
-Study Hall: Kind of Lame Today Actually
-Peer Tutoring: Really Fun. They Wrote a Small Story...I Got to Help A Lot.
-AP Lit: Discussed the Essay We Wrote
-Statistics: Short Assignment & a Little Chit Chat
----------
After school I washed my car. I'm disappointed with some of my friends that choose to leave their trash....I found laffy taffy gum on the side of my door...it was so nasty...I found wrappers all over. Ick.
---------
I started dealing with graduation invitations. My mom complimented my handwriting and said it was amazing....it was my normal handwriting...so I'm glad she thinks that.
----------
I did a little meditating by stretching, drinking tea, adjusting the lighting, and listening to my relaxing music. I feel pretty good.
--------
The Biggest Loser is tragic tonight. Laura has an injury...and even though I like her I think she needs to go home...Ron is not going home...and that upsets me...I don't like him. He's icky.
-------
Peace.
Paint It Black
The days became filled with rays of light
radiating from the sun.
A cool breeze danced aross the land
twisting itself around everything in sight.
Life began to contemplate
whether it would be better to come or remain.
I sit on the ground
daydreaming of other places and other moments.
I had dreamed of the sun in the past,
but all I ask is one day of a cool rain
with lightning and thunder crashing in the sky.
---------------------------------------------------
Today is Monday. It was an uneventful day. The only thing different was a new Spanish 2 seating chart which not many people were happier with, but I am happy with the idea of a little bit more silence.
--------------
I took a nap after school. It was nice.
--------------
I had a conversation with Esteban last night. He was acting strange. I didn't like it and I blocked him. I was hoping that he had matured because our previous conversation had been the most mature conversation we have had since as far back as I can remember. I later had a conversation with his best friend without realizing it was him (I also had someone else I was expecting to add me). I like his best friend...he's really nice...he sent me a nice email a while back. A part of me hopes that Esteban didn't find out that I had blocked him and later talked to his friend...a part of me doesn't care.
-------------
This week will be good.
Losing My Religion
It's Easter. Do you know what the word Easter really means? I thought about that today when I noticed that I only heard the word Easter used once in church and it wasn't by the pastor. It was actually the name of a goddess and her celebration.
----------
I don't know my views on religion anymore. I used to be a very strong Christian back when I basically just did what my parents did, but I think sometime last year I just started questioning everything. I used to think that people who didn't believe in God have bad morals and values...I don't believe that anymore. I believe in inner peace, helping others, love, living in the moment and gravity. That is good enough for me right now...I'll figure the other stuff out later.
----------
I went to church today. It has been a very long time...pretty much 3 weeks before my mom had surgury which then led to 6 more weeks not going and has continued to be about another 3 weeks after that....a long time sounds easier though. It started off with the Sunday School kids singing....it turned out to be just one girl singing, but there was a bunch of kids up there lipping the words anyways...later the Church Choir sang....there's one woman in there that shouldn't be....of course she's the loudest...she sounds like a bazooka and was very distracting...I no longer like the word "rose" at all....it was the highest, nastiest, nasaliest note ever in that song...it's nice she has a way to express herself, but just...bleh.
---------
I also did lots of scholarships...even more than I thought I would...but of course not all the ones I grabbed. I felt pretty good about the ones I did...so that was the goal. While I was doing them I watched "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Office". I also did laundry, did some Latin, and got our AP Bio presentation together.
---------
I talked to Danny today...it's been a while....like a very long while...he's the one that told me to be a psychologist in 9th grade...it was a pretty inspirational day...I used that story in one of my scholarships to answer the question of why I chose to pursue what I chose to pursue.
---------
I look forward to this week....I get to sleep in Tuesday and Wednesday because I'm a Senior...whooooo.
---------
I went to church. My mom got me a basket filled with candy. My dad cooked a "fancy" lunch. My mom worked. I filled out scholarships and did other homework. I texted. I made people smile. My magazine says that celebrities are trying to bring back the 90's-era Seattle grunge...I say no...leather, flannels, and liberty print should be left behind....pretty much only Adam and select individuals can pull off that. And that is my Easter.
--------
Happy Chocolate, Egg, Bunny, Rising of Christ, Bright Colored Outfits, and Children Day!
Jaala and Harrison are in Love
I think it is safe to say that today doesn't have a word to describe itself. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. It was....it was April 11th of 2009. I went to the pancake breakfast, I worked on a project with Hannah in Hope's Harvest, I had a chit chat with Kevin, I got to know all of Nathan Frye's personalities and heard many strange voices and also saw him shove his cat in a pillowcase (don't worry it wasn't injured), I went to Target and Menards with Hannah, Jake, and Tom, and I also went to Fiesta Mexicana to celebrate Nicole's birthday. Nathan and I are also in agreement we are better off as friends...so if you are following my love life...there you go.
-------
I have a story to tell. It's about Jaala and Harrison. I'm not sure where they are from, how old they are, or what they do for a living, but I randomly came across Jaala's blog one day when I was bored...it made me laugh so I bookmarked it. It has continued to make me laugh...so I decided to make up a love story about them...
---------
Jaala and Harrison are in Love
By: Krista
Once upon a time Jaala and Harrison were in love. It all started when he turned his head slightly to the right next to a tree and he took a "pretty sexy" picture. They shared an awkward kiss at the top of a mountain overlooking a city. Harrison continued his studies at BYU to become a who-knows-what. Jaala was very proud of him and is amazed every day by how smart and witty he is. Harrison is proud of Jaala's awesome crafting abilities. They attended opening night of the new Fast and the Furious movie. She about peed her pants with happiness when she saw it was a "new model with the same parts". Jaala is a Mormon and never thought she would advertise it, but she did. Harrison and Jaala sip Cherry Coke while listening to audio books. Jaala and Harrison are in love. Jaala loves peacoats and party hats. Jaala loves failblog.org. Jaala and Harrison are in love.
What's even better about this story is everything that I said is at least slightly true. Harrison and Jaala are pictured in the above pictures. The last one is their favorite and it's going on his graduation announcements.
I'm glad I could share a bit of their lives. I've learned some things from looking through random blogs. Quite interesting.
Hope my blog was as undescribeable as my day was.
Tom Sawyer
I Love You Man.....was the movie we went to. It was hilarious. They played Rush (one of my top 5 favorite classic rock bands ever!) and they used the word lovely AND they had awkward moments....pretty much me. Not to mention I turned to Josh and said something and 2 seconds later the movie used my exact quote...which was really creepy.
---------
Before the movie I was going to hang out with JDK. As I left my house a passing car by my house had a passenger in it that stared at me for the time that it took them to go by (sorry that sentence was so awkward)....not to mention he stuck his face against the window with his mouth open...it was so awkward....either I looked really weird or really attractive...i'm not sure.
--------
Then at Kwik Trip...while I was buying the energy drinks...there were 2 creepy guys. It was also awkward. This guy in lined turned around and looked at me...then looked away and wouldn't stop moving around...it was like he was doing the Waltz by himself. And the creeper looking thing of a guy ahead of him was buying chew...him and the cashier discussed chew "back in the day when it was 35 cents"....after I left kwik trip I saw that same creeper looking thing at the liquor store loading up his trunk with alcohol.
-------
Then I got to JDK's house and we went for a walk while drinking our energy drinks (which later made me very ADHD)...we both got very hyper...we walked to the end of the pier (past these other weirdos) and laughed so much...it was seriously about 5 minutes of non-stop laughter. Then we drove around and JDK heard me sing...very loudly...and very badly....he is one of very few people that has ever heard me sing....like I could probably name the people that have heard me sing....oh well...it wasn't bad enough for him to stop being friends with me.
-------
We met up with Briana, Hannah, Tiffany, Nathan, Riley, and I think that's it....hmm...yes. We went to that movie....and that was the end. It was fun....good night.
--------
Would you believe I'm waking up at 7:30am tomorrow??? I don't....crazy Hannah. Oh well, it will be a good time. Then I'm spending the day with Nathan...which will be great...neither of us have very much money so we are going on a cheap date...which have always been fun. Then I am celebrating the day of Nicole's birth at Fiesta Mexicana with the dos-linguals...que fun.
-------
Goodbye Pistol. Goodbye Mssshhhhhhh. Hope I didn't hurt your head with such long paragraphs.
4480425
Today was something close to perfect & I have so many stories, but I'll try to keep this short and sweet.
---------
This morning was pretty stressful though...at 7:15 I realized tomorrow is Nicole's birthday and I was going to decorate her locker. So I made "Happy Birthday Nicole" poster-sign-things...and that took me a while...I left my house late...stopped by fiesta to find that I ran out of check blanks and had no cash....luckily I had my tarjeta de debito. I asked an old guy if he could fill up the balloon I picked out...he took forever to find someone that had the ability...at this point it was 8:05. Then I had a crapload of stuff to bring into the school....I dropped my poster-sign-things in the middle of the street and the wind blew them away...I chased after them...and I know a guy in the parking lot was trying not to laugh, but he did anyways...and he didn't even bother to help...I got everything accomplished just before the warning bell rang...and that was pretty stressful...but at least it woke me up.
------------
I made a lot of people's day today. First hour I got 6/8 songs...and our class won donuts. In Media Design I got so involved in the yearbook apparently I blocked out everything around me and was a little late for lunch. In peer tutoring Sra. Schmitz took the class outside and they read a story while I corrected their tests...then they came inside and sang...they sounded like cats getting throw against a brick wall, but whatever.
--------
Hannah & I worked on our project after school...she had speaking issues...it was pretty funny.
------
I went to the boys tennis match. I was a good photographer. I hope BJ likes the fact that I got him pictures for his yearbook page...I figured he would fail. Everyone did good. I hung out with Liz/Bessie. We had a good time and I think we are pretty good friends now...we have already developed a lot of inside jokes. She was my date and she did a good job. She warmed my hands and shared her candy & chips.
--------
I went to JDK's house and hung out with him and Liz. That was pretty entertaining. I approve of her and her humor.
-------
Now I am tired...I hope tomorrow is a good day...the morning/afternoon will consist of scholarships...but at night I'm going to a movie...should be a good time.
------
My parents went to church. I did not. I'm glad. I believe in inner peace & gravity. The rest is yet to be determined.
Thursdays Suck When You Realize It's Wednesday
Today was not a good day. My Thursday Theory came into effect.
----------
I took a test. I'm hoping for 100%, but we'll see. I had a donut. The camera died at just the right time. I accomplished some stuff. I laughed in study hall. Lunch was a good time. I finished my Statistics project. Tanisha & I left class to sit outside for a while.
---------
Those were the good parts of my day.
--------
Michelle asked me annoying questions about Esteban that made me sound like a bad person. That pretty much put me in a bad mood the rest of the day. In Statistics we finished the project in about 20 minutes...sounds good right? NO because we had nothing to do the rest of the hour and it took forever. I felt like death after that class.
-------
I was called Negative Nancy today as a joke, but it turned out to be true. I said "I don't care" to someone and meant it, but they didn't take me seriously....I also said it to a few other people and didn't mean it sooo I hope that evens out. I meant to make someone's day today, but I'm sure I failed...
------
Tomorrow can only be better. I'm going to the tennis match after school. I don't have a date yet so feel free to join me. I look forward to Friday and Saturday. I wish weekends lasted forever.
------
I'm in a relationship, but it doesn't really feel like it...that's okay for now...I'm going to have a chat with Esteban asap and hang out with my new relation this weekend...I know it will be just lovely.
-------
This blog was a little on the depressing side. I will make up for it with a bright smile tomorrow. I will try to make 2-3 people's day a little better. I will be in a good mood tomorrow. Point.
Today was a fail. www.failblog.org is not.
From Balloons to Out-Dated Literature
Today was pretty uneventful, but not bad.
-----------------
I gave 2-3 nouns that I believe people's heads are filled with in my AP Lit Class:
-Briana: Balloons, Confetti, Dresses
-Mike: Dinosaurs and Ninjas
-JDK: Musical Instruments
-Katie Loppnow: Angels and Teddy Bears
-Tommy: Calculators and Erlenmeyer Flasks
-Tom: Footballs, Golf Balls, and Steak
-Spano: Tweezers, Blood, and Prescription Pads
-Megan R: American Flags and Country Music
-Jared: Stars and Popcorn
-Chris: Cell Phone Keys, Squirrels, and Glitter
-Mr. Heise: Unicorns, Periwinkles, and Out-Dated Literature
----------------
"So....this is my locker...wanna come in?" -Mike
----------------
I remembered my test. Hannah and I accomplished a lot in Bio. Mike, Bri, and I left Media Design and went to Bri's Mom's office for brownies and chocolate. AP Lit. dragged on forever. I got a phone call last night, but it was too late so it ended up just being a voicemail.
----------------
"Special bumper stickers for special people." -Jake Eichhorn
---------------
I have lots I want to accomplish the rest of the evening...I hope I get everything done. Tomorrow should be good...I can't wait to be recognized....or rather, just get my donut. The weather is suppose to be nice too...yay for April.
Adios!
Don't Bring Me Down
The world was a little off balance today...almost everyone in my classes were extra weird today...it was odd. The sun was shining though, and I woke up in a very good mood.
--------------------
~Spanish 4 was as annoying as ever...I'm just not a huge fan of Sra. Swanson...she did however say "como?!" incredibly loud today and it made me think of our snodaze skit.
~AP Bio--powerpoint project with Hannah
~Study Hall--Mike was hyper so I accomplished nothing.
~Media Design--yearbook (Mike continued to be energetic)
~Peer Tutoring--the class was so loud they gave me a headache...they also argued over which team I was on to get them points on their test...I helped 2 teams...
~AP Lit--I got a good score on my AP practice test =) I was really happy.
~Statistics--Tom & I got a lot done...I was really happy again...plus we get another day to work on it so I won't have to do any of it at home...yay. Mr. Kohutko also shared some inspirational stories.
-------------------
I was hugged, someone held my hand, and someone escorted me to my car. Thank-you Mike, Jared, and Hannah.
--------------------
I'll make the rest of this short and sweet considering nothing really exciting happend today...but I'm finally making up for all the laziness that has been happening. I finished my Latin assignment (only 3 more to go & 1 test!!!!), I worked on scholarships, I worked on AP Bio, I watched the Twins game, and I listened to my father go on and on about things that annoy him (mainly my mother).
------------------
I sent Esteban a happy birthday email...hopefully that will be good enough...I really hope he doesn't call...it would just end up being him saying that he misses me and telling me how he is coming to visit over the summer and how he promises me that he won't move on even though I want him to more than anything...I would feel obligated agree with things I don't for the sake of not bringing up the news I have on his birthday...even though I would just like to tell him and be done with everything...whatever...I refuse to lie...we'll just hope he doesn't call.
------------------
"I'll show you flirting." *Tiffany walks by* "Hey Tiffany...nice ass." -Mike
------------------
Remind me I have to take a test tomorrow during study hall...and in saying that I just realized I don't have a study hall tomorrow...crap...well perhaps during peer tutoring...that sounds good....remind me.
Healthy Tofu Pizza Scandal on a Sunday Blanket
It didn't snow. That brings a smile to my face.
-------------------
Nathan cooked me dinner tonight. It was a chicken recipe that turned into a tofu recipe which resulted in pizza. Nathan is a good cook though, don't worry.
------------------
We watched a movie. It was a good movie...which I can't remember the full title...something about Sunday and a Scandal. Or maybe Sunday wasn't included? I'm not sure...but anyways today is Sunday and there was a Scandal. It was a weird movie, but one of those weird movies that is interesting.
-----------------
No matter how many awkward moments we have, Nathan and I always manage to have a good time. We laughed a lot, had dinner on a blanket and wore sweats. Que divertido. April 5th, 2009 will be a day to remember, of course.
----------------
This week I will be forced to make up for all the stuff I have procrastinated on. Certain things have been solved and others have been organized though...so it's okay.
-----------------
It's Esteban's birthday tomorrow...he asked that I make sure to talk to him. I hope it's not awkward because if it is it won't be the kind of awkward that makes me laugh.
----------------
If you remember, text me and tell me to bring my computer to school tomorrow...I need it for AP Bio. and I'm likely to forget.
Goodnight!
Dolly vs Monsters
Tonight was wonderful.
-------------------------
Hello Dolly was sold out. I was sad, but I'm sure Jared will understand. JDK and I had a plan B to see "I Love You Man", but that was also a fail...so instead we saw "Monsters vs. Aliens." Best plan C to ever exist ever. I am so glad it ended up the way it did.
------------------------
"Holy Cheezits!!"
------------------------
To begin, the movie theater was empty. JDK and I made use of that by racing to the top of the movie theater, playing Hide & Seek, and exploring. It was such a good time. Then JDK left to get food...a guy and his girlfriend came in the theater, looked at me, and said "Will you look at that."
-----------------------
JDK and I developed many inside jokes from the movie. I haven't laughed at a movie that much in so long.
---------------------
"Oh my God SUSAN!"
--------------------
Before the movie we had Subway. JDK made friends. We made fun of those friends. They had Valley Girl voices and were bragging about their 2nd place finish in volleyball.
-------------------
"Like Oh My God..you know how we do those frog things...well she didn't do them and everyone on the team was Soooooooo upset with her...even the manager Like hated her...Oh My God...we told her to get ahold of herself...Like Seriously."
--------------------
I look forward to tomorrow. I watched rain come and go....and there will simply be no snow.
Shut Up & Dance
Good Evening,
It's finally Friday! I have had almost no sleep this week, but at the same time school has become a lot easier so it doesn't really matter.
----------------------
Today I was rejected. Then, I rejected the person that rejected me. Then, that person and I laughed about it. I almost shouted shut up to a teacher that I really don't like. I decorated the hallway with Spanish papers. Mr. Olson invited me to the
AIDS walk in May. I took an AP Lit. exam. I had a conversation with a person that I haven't talked to in a very long time, and don't really care to talk to ever again.
---------------------
"Sometimes I know some things about somethings. The only people I know are me and the people I know." -Mike (being serious)
---------------------
This week I have not been able to stop thinking about food. I feel like I have to eat all the time...& usually it's not healthy food. My mom has come up with a lot of different reasons for this such as hormones or growing. I disagree with both. JDK and I have our own ideas.
----------------------
My mom is sick. She sounds like death every time she talks. Luckily I make her laugh a lot causing her to go on a long coughing tangent, but it's okay because laughter is suppose to cure everything. I'm glad she thinks I'm funny...I'll expect her to have a quick recovery because of it.
----------------------
"Normally if I were to choose a superpower it would be to be invisible. Today I would have gladly chosen to be able to shoot fire out of my eyes." -Rochelle...a random blogger
----------------------
March should go away, or at least till Monday...or even late late Sunday. I look forward to tomorrow. Time with JDK...should be epic. And, Sunday will be lovely too...time with Nathan Frye...also going to be epic.
Story of My Life
Bienvenidos
It's Thursday. I'm not a fan of Thursdays, but I guess this one wasn't THAT bad...just a little on the boring side.
------------------------------------------
I found out I did terrible on my AP Bio test, but so did a lot of people...so I can redo parts of it and potentially get full credit. yay. Hannah and I have sensory motor animal behavior or something along those lines for our project...the above picture was in our chapter of the book. Naked mole rats look nasty. We decided they look like really really awkward penises.
------------------------------------------
I gave an awkward hug. I had a heart written on my hand. I was whistled at. I was semi-flirted with, but not really.
------------------------------------------
-"Why is this desk missing?" -Jake Eichhorn
-"I don't know." -Kevin
-"I feel naked." -Jake Eichhorn
------------------------------------------
Today peer tutoring was really fun. First they watched videos that nobody really understood. It was quite entertaining. Then they played "Mata La Mosca." That was very divertido. After AP Lit I also saw Sra. Schmitz wearing this huge hat in the hallway...she makes me laugh so much. I wish she taught Spanish 4.
------------------------------------------
Today I fell alseep in Statistics....Mr. Kohutko made fun of me. Oh well. I'm glad Tom, Tanisha, and Jad are in that class...they are seriously the only thing that makes it bearable. Today I asked Jad a question and the only thing he did was punch a smiley face into his graphing calculator and showed it to me. It made me laugh.
------------------------------------------
I really like Study Hall. It's my favorite hour of the day...especially when I have nothing to do. Today Mike and I had a Skype Video Conference with Scott. Mike & I played deal or no deal and lost $719,000. Mike fails at picking cases.
------------------------------------------
The weather had better not be bad Saturday Night into Sunday. I have 2 good plans this weekend and I will not allow either of them to be canceled. Whatever happend to spring?
Happy Friday Tomorrow!!!
Graduation Came Early
Today was a hilarious day. Of course, I must start out by saying that Spanish 4 and Probability/Statistics are two incredibly boring classes. But, overall the best day of the week was today!
"Que Bueno." -Kevin
"That means good." -Jake Eichhorn
Graduation came early. I took pictures. 5th hour Spanish 2 is like a zoo. In advisory we played Catch Phrase--there were some dirty clues and some clues that didn't relate to anything. JDK sang, and it made a girl that neither of us knew give him a weird look...he then looked at her and told her to stop it. That made me laugh a lot.
"Well...you can't shut your butt." -Sra. Schmitz
Tanisha didn't know I was video taping her. The above video was the result. I also got a funny video of Jared & Jake, but it wouldn't upload onto here...que triste.
"You have your graduation stuff...that means stop trying, stop doing your homework, and don't even come." -Mr. Fred in the hallway
I accomplished quite a bit after school. I did AP Lit, I looked at scholarships, I did laundry, I ran on the treadmill, I took a bath & washed my face, and I started to organize my weekend.
A good start to April. If only March would stop crapping white stuff onto April. Stupid March.
It's poetry month...perhaps I will write a poem someday or another...I know JDK has been.
